HANDMADE Ceremony/Prayer Elk Rawhide Drum Round 15″ w/ Striker Wolf Painting – Stretched over maple.
Comes with one drumstick 16 inches long
The drum is not just a musical instrument. For many spiritual people, the drum holds great cultural and symbolic power. This can be a tool or connection to the spirit world used by many nations throughout history, including: Tibetans, Buddhists, African cultures, Celtic beliefs, and some South American tribes. Native Americans believe the drum has a life of its own, as well as its own powerful spirit. It carries the heartbeat of Mother Earth and calls the spirits and nations together.
Handmade by Gary Halbach. (Four of Gary’s 24″ Ceremonial Drums were used during the Winter Olympics Opening Ceremony on February 8, 2002 in Salt Lake City). Gary makes the drums and works with a group of artists to have them hand painted. This item is new, no box. Has only been played for demonstration.
